Nintendo Switch Online adds 3 Game Boy games on Oct. 27
The standard subscription is enough for a ghost adventure, mole puzzles and pinball. The update brings the library to 49 games.
How sure
Official
Nintendo announced the three games in its video.
A mole, a ghost and a pinball gator join Nintendo Switch Online on Oct. 27. Subscribers on Switch and Switch 2 get three more Game Boy games without paying for the Expansion Pack.
Avenging Spirit lets a ghost take control of enemies across six stages. Mole Mania follows Muddy Mole through puzzles as he tries to rescue his family. Revenge of the ‘Gator is pinball with four main stages and three bonus stages. Nintendo describes all three games in its announcement.
The standard Nintendo Switch Online membership is enough to play them on Switch or Switch 2, according to Nintendo Everything. Mole Mania has a two-player contest based on dropped cabbages, while Revenge of the ‘Gator supports solo and two-player play. That gives subscribers a choice between puzzles, ghost action and a pinball game that starts with three balls.
After the update, the Game Boy and Game Boy Color library will have 49 games outside Japan, according to VGC. Four additional games are exclusive to the Japanese app.
What we don’t know
Nintendo has announced the Oct. 27 date but has not given a launch hour.
That’s the whole story. Back to the main quest.
