LEVEL UP reports the update; Steam confirms the sale and game details.
Windblown’s last major update before version 1.0 is live, according to LEVEL UP. It changes combat and travel, while a 30% Steam sale until Nov. 5 lowers the price of getting in now.
The update is numbered 0.9999999. It adds warnings before enemy attacks, changes attack timing and rebalances Co-op and Cataclysmic difficulty. Quick-return teleporters also cut down on trips through places already explored, according to LEVEL UP.
The shops now have six categories, including equipment, healing and upgrades. The update also brings 17 new affixes and more accessibility options for automatic combos.
Steam lists Windblown at $17.49 in the US, £15.39 in the UK, €17.49 in the EU and Mex$ 198.09 in Mexico during the sale. Those are local store prices, each 30% below its regular price. Motion Twin’s game supports both solo play and online co-op.
What we don’t know
Motion Twin has not announced a date for version 1.0. The update number has seven nines, but it does not put a day on the calendar.
That’s the whole story. Back to the main quest.
