GANG OF DRAGON is still listed as coming soon on Steam, but the studio has not said whether another team will finish it.

Two outlets checked the government notice; no direct gazette URL was supplied.

Nagoshi Studio, the developer of GANG OF DRAGON, dissolved after an Oct. 31 shareholder vote, according to Game*Spark. The game is unreleased, and Inven Global reports that no official cancellation announcement has been made.
A dissolution notice appeared in Japan’s official gazette on Nov. 2. Inven Global also checked the notice, on page 176, and named Minoru Morinaga as the person handling the studio’s liquidation. Dissolution starts the process of closing the company; it does not mean that process is already finished.
GANG OF DRAGON was announced in December 2025. It stars actor Ma Dong-seok as Shin Ji-seong in an action-adventure set in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district. Nagoshi Studio’s Steam page still names the studio as both developer and publisher. It lists the game as coming soon on Windows and lets players add it to a wishlist, but it gives no release date. A live store page does not settle whether development will continue.
What we don’t know
The studio has not announced whether another team will finish GANG OF DRAGON, whether it has a new publisher, or whether it will be canceled.
That’s the whole story. Back to the main quest.
