Team Ninja plans combat and performance changes for Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember before its Mar. 4, 2027 release. Players considering the game have specific fixes to watch for, but those fixes are not available yet.
PC optimization drew a strong negative response in the alpha survey: 50.5% of PC respondents rated it poorly, according to Xboxdynasty. That number covers the PC survey group, not Xbox players. Team Ninja plans steadier frame rates, shorter loads and fewer crashes.
The combat plans include wider timing windows for parries and Insight Skills, more rewards for successful actions in the Spirit system, and better reach for air attacks. Co-op changes are planned too, including more room for players to move away from the host and a fix for progress that failed to save during group play. A wider parry window sounds welcome; a lost co-op save needs a fix of its own.
The Steam page lists a regular price of $69.99 in the US, £64.99 in the UK, €79.99 in the EU and Mex$1,142.00 in Mexico. It lists both single-player and online co-op. Those prices are set out now; the planned fixes still have to make it into the finished game.
What we don’t know
Team Ninja has not given performance targets or a date for another public test of these changes.
That’s the whole story. Back to the main quest.
